Andreas Markides

Andreas Markides is a civil engineer with a specialization in Transport Planning. His consultancy, Markides Associates, advises on the planning and regeneration of cities.

He comes from Kyra, a village near Morphou but for many years now he has lived in England. He is married to Kay Swift, and together they have four children -Eleni, Nike, Stephanie, and Alex.

From a young age, Andreas has been passionate about the classical Greek civilization as well as modern poetry
